As bidders competed for exclusive and exotic prizes, the champagne flowed and a wonderful time was had by all as we celebrated 40 years of all things Pembridge Hall.
On Thursday 21st November, we celebrated the 40th anniversary of Pembridge Hall School with a champagne reception, entertainment from a female vintage harmony trio, delicious finger food, and a silent charity auction.
Charismatic Headmaster, Henry Keighley-Elstub, gave an entertaining speech reflecting on both the school’s 40 year history, his vision for the future and his personal commitment to the enhancement of the Pembridge Hall Bursary Fund.
The former pupils who attended were thrilled to have the opportunity to reminisce over memories of their time at the school with former staff and Headmistresses, including Laura Marani, Liz Collison, Eve Pomfret, Phil Mulligan, and Fran Bayliss. Phil Mulligan also delighted current parents as she heckled Henry during his speech!
Guests were entertained by the soulful voices of Belle Noir, whose timeless take on old-school Hollywood glamour, added an extra dose of glitz to the evening.
Finger food was prepared by Pomona's and offered throughout the event, while champagne, wine, beer, and mocktails flowed. After some hours of partying, guests were presented with 40th anniversary goody bags upon leaving. These included several treats such as chocolates and teddy bears featuring the school logo, and a limited edition publication of the history of Pembridge Hall.
After the success of this party, we plan to host further celebrations for all alumni gatherings soon so do stay tuned for future events.
